Bullying at School
Now, bullying at school is not a case which is strange to be heard. There are so many cases of bullying that happen at many schools in Indonesia.
Bullying at school is psychological, emotional, cyber, social or physical harrasment which happens to one students or more by another student. The newest case of bullying happens in a university in Malang. It have been done by senior students to junior students especially in Student Orientation Period even this period makes one of the junior student passed away. He is a student from Mataram, NTB. He goes to Malang to makes his parents happy but he can do that again because of his senior irresponsibility. This bad moment happens because the teachers don’t participate enough in this period so that many seniors do bullying. They are usually so anarchist because they feel that they are so authoritative. There are still many bullying cases that happen beside in Malang. It is so bad.
From the facts above, I think there is no reason for teacher to not participate in every activity in the school especially in Student Orientation Period. Beside that, the headmaster and the police have to give proper punishment for every senior students who do bullying. So that, they will recognize that they do a big mistake and the punishment will make the student afraid to do bullying.
