A Boring Class
One problem in learning process is boredom. It happens to students or teachers. Students who are bored will do other activities outside the control of teachers. for example, chatting with friends beside them and using their mobile phone in class , students do not ask when there is an opportunity to ask, students are silent when they are asked a question by the teacher, students do not do their homework and even there is student sleeping in the class.
The factors that influence the boring class are :
- Students do not like the teachers who teach.
- Students feel bored with the lesson.
- The teaching and learning process are not interesting.
Monotonous learning atmosphere will make the students bored. The teacher should know what the students want. Besides, the cause of the boring class is the teacher who always monotone in teaching. Boring learning environment will affect the student becomes difficult to concentrate on the lesson. It would make them fail in the exam because they don’t undestand the lesson. There is a positive relationship between the interesting teacher with student’s value in learning. Fun learning environment will keep their motivation to learn.
From the problem above, i think we have to create a fun learning atmosphere and conducive, such as :
- To be fun teacher so that students feel enjoy and happy in learning . Teachers must be able to create a harmonious relationship with the students.
- Teachers give opportunities for student to be active participant in learning activities
- Teachers change the monotonous learning system.
- A teacher can also give praise to increase student’s motivation to learn. Sometimes, the teacher can give awards to students who excel.
- Learning process is not only in the classroom, but it could be outside the classroom. It could be more effective because the student feel relax and comfort.
