Human Trafficking
The era of globalization is not only a positive impact on a country but also raises the things that are negative. One of the negative impacts of these systems is the emergence of human trafficking, an illegal business activities were wounded sense of justice and humanity. Required continuous efforts and cooperation of all the elements to overcome the problem of human trafficking.
Efforts to fight trafficking must involve many parties, including the government, civil society, and the media. Various efforts have been attempted by the government and international agencies to find real solutions to overcome the problem of human trafficking in Indonesia. In addressing the issue of human trafficking is the role of the media. The media can be an effective tool in raising public awareness. Society must understand the impact of human trafficking to help carry out its role to overcome this. Strengthening civil society in this case also the basic element that is very important, however, because civil society is the victim of this action.
Citizen participation is needed to ensure the government’s policy in dealing with human trafficking to the field level implementation. Trafficking problem is quite complex. It is therefore necessary earnest struggle of all elements of the nation in addressing it. “Keep on Fighting for the Indonesian Better, Keep on Fighting for the better World, the World without Human Trafficking.”
