The Importance of Giving Homework to the Students
I personally think that the teacher should give homework to the students. Why do I say that ?
Firstly, doing homework could improve students’ comprehension. Home work is a kind of exercises that is given by the teacher for the students. If the students often do exercises, they could remember the materials easier because they read the materials that the teacher gives in the school anymore to finish their homework.
Secondly, doing homework trains the students to be more responsible. When the teacher gives homework to the students, it is necessity for them to finish their homework in the house, not in the school. So, when there is a student who doesn’t finish their homework, he must ready to get consequences from his teacher. Whatever concequences that the teacher gives, he must ready to do it.
Thirdly, doing homework makes the students to be more diligent, because when the students have awarness and responsibility, they will finish their homework soon. If the students do this acitivity continually, it will become a good habitual for the students. Except that, the students could arrange their time easily between playing and studying.
And the last, doing homework makes the students to be hard workers because when the students find difficulties in doing homework, they will push themselves to find the sollution. They will look for many information from many sources, like as by searching in the internet through google search engine, asking their parents, reading many books, etc. The students will try to dig up the knowledge about something that they haven’t known before.
From those reasons above, it is obsious that homework is important for the students, so the teacher should give it for them.
